The Valley Holiday Home Gozo
Situated in the small tranquil village of Kercem. This converted, century old property - just a stone's throw away from the city of Victoria.
The main feature of this property is the traditional styled mill room, which gives unique and charming character to the property. With its original stone work, all of which is now converted into a cozy living, kitchen and dining area. Complete with a fireplace – all of which overlooks the private pool and deck area.
A spiral staircase - which is a feature in itself, joins the living area with the 3 bedrooms upstairs. One twin and One double on first floor both served with a bathroom in the hallway.
On the 3rd floor there is another double bedroom with ensuite, a large terrace overlooking the valley with magnificent Citadel fortress views.
Finally completing this delightful holiday home, is a separate twin bedroom reachable also by stairs from kitchen dining living combined room completed with ensuite facilities.
Property is not recommended for persons with limited mobility as every room is reachable via stairs only.

Included in this accommodation: All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, along with extra blankets in the wardrobes should you need further layers. In addition to this, you will also be provided with Two towels per person – which will be placed on the beds ready for use.
The bedrooms are equipped with AC units that are available with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins) installed at property with a screen to display the credit remaining, each AC unit consumes around € 2 per night.
Maid service is included when you book for 8 nights or more.
We will also provide all bookings with 1x dishwasher tablet and 1x washing machine tablet per night of your stay.

The city of Victoria is easily accessible by walk form this location, just 1.5km away (15 minutes' walk). Kercem is a small village with population of approximately 1,700 people. The property is situated in the calm and tranquil area of the village of Kercem.
The closest beaches are Xlendi and Dwejra bay where the famous Azure window was once situated. The diversity of the island makes its unique because of its size, you are practically from one side to another in just 10 minutes. In the morning you could be visiting historical sites; like Ggantija, Citadella and enjoying the afternoon at the beach - with the most famous of course Ramla with its red sand.

Kindly note that price does not include Malta Eco Tax, we are required by law to collect it on arrival from all tourists, including locals from the age of 18 and over. The tax is € 0.50c per person for each night spent on the Maltese Islands.Capped at a maximum of €5 per person for each continuous stay.This is paid locally in cash only and collected at check in by one of our staff.
Fully refundable security deposit
A mandatory fully refundable security deposit of € 400 for private pool properties and € 200 for properties with shared pool is needed to cover for any damages (excluding normal tear and wear) or/and missing items and will be charged from the card on file with the rest of the amount due 2 weeks before arrival date. This amount will be refunded automatically within 7 days of checkout. Baron Holiday Homes have 48 hours from checkout to report any damage or missing items to guest in writing.

Cancellation
No fees charged for bookings cancelled within 48 hours of booking, not applicable for bookings done 48 hours from arrival date.
We strongly advise all guests to purchase travel insurance, in case of the unfortunate event in which you need to cancel your holiday.
All requests to cancel a booking must be made in writing and must be signed by the person who made the booking. You must then post or email the request to Baron Holiday Homes.
If your request to cancel your booking is receivedmore than 180 days before the booking was due to start, we will refund your deposit in full.
Requests to cancel a booking receivedbetween 30 and 179 days before the booking was due to start will incur a penalty charge of10% of the deposit. The remainder of the deposit will ONLY be refunded if the accommodation is re-let for the full period of the intended stay.
Requests to cancel a booking receivedless than 30 days before the booking was due to start, will incur a penalty charge of10% of the whole amount already paid.

Infants and extra beds
All children are welcome.
Children under 3 years at check in, stay free of charge when sleeping with parents or in a baby cot. We can offer 1 baby cot free of charge, additional baby cots are charged at €5 per night (these will include bed linen and 2 towels)
Folding beds can be provided for you, at an extra charge of € 10 per night.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is subject to availability, which subsequently needs to be confirmed by management in writing. All requests must be made at least 1 week prior to your arrival date.
Pet policy
Pets are allowed on request and must be approved in writing, if approved there is € 15 per night fee, capped at € 45 total.
Parties
Parties/events are not allowed, under any circumstances.
Quiet hours
The wonderful island of Gozo is a small tranquil place. In order to ensure you don't disturb the local surroundings, we kindly recommend that you keep the volume down at all times - especially between 22:00 and 9am.
Environmental contribution (ECO tax)
The contribution is payable by all tourists who are18 yearsor olderirrespective of nationality (including locals).
It amounts to €0.50 per personfor each night payable in cash at checkin, spent on the Maltese Islands at any type of accommodation. The contribution iscapped at a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay. This applies also totwin-centre stays in Malta and Gozo.
Breakage waiver/Security deposit :
When checking in to your accommodation, a valid credit card is required; In order to complete one of the following two options to cover any damages caused during your stay:
- For just €29.50 per party, the breakage waiver covers you for accidental damage or loss of equipment which may occur - during your stay in a Baron Holiday Homes accommodation. Thus enabling you to relax and enjoy your holiday. This non-refundable fee will ONLY cover accidental damage up to €300.
Or
- Pay a fully refundable security deposit (Pre – Authorisation) of €400 at check-in, using a valid Visa or Master Card. Therefore, covering any damage to your Baron Holiday Home and/or its contents. Baron Holiday Homes have 48 hours from your departure to report any damages or missing items. The bank will release these funds 28 days from transaction date.
